Birthdays celebrations at the Loomis House

Braden ended the evening dirty, sweaty, and tired, proof that it was a fun night!

Braden's way of playing cornhole is much easier! He was having fun with Uncle Dale.

He has finally figured out how to blow bubbles without eating the bubble wand!

He was in heaven playing cars with Kristopher, there were so many he didn't know what to do!
Thank you for dinner Brad and Tracy! We had a good time and everything was yummy! It was great to see everyone!

Warren County Fair

Braden and I went to the fair with Aunt Julie, Aunt Tracy, Rocky, Devin, and Ian. We were able to see lots of animals and eat some yummy greasy fair food! Braden asked to pet all the sheep and goats but when we got to the bunnies he got a little nervous. He eventually came around after he was able to hold a couple of bunnies! Braden also got to go on a pony ride and sit in a digger!

Silly Pictures

Braden finally loves giving kisses!

Showing off his new dog and outfit from Grandma! The dog sings Shout and I'm pretty sure we heard it about 100 times that day. This wouldn't be so bad except that we have to dance every time!

Daddy was out of town last week so we took some pictures to send to him. Braden loves his I Dig My Dad shirt!

Cincinnati Zoo

We went to the zoo with the Shaws. The kids all had fun checking out the animals and riding the carousel and train. We were hoping to feed the giraffes but they aren't comfortable with that just yet.

Fun Stuff in June

We had a playdate with Jake and Sarah. Jake is cheersing sippy cups with Braden. Our parties have definitely changed these days!

Braden loved playing with his pool and water table. Unfortunately, the slide soon deflated after that one joyful day of swimming!

Goofy boy with those cool sunglasses!

We had to take a picture of the rare relaxation moment on the couch with the fox blankie, dinosaur blankie, and of course, his fingers!

Dinner at the Shaws

Jacob and Chris had the Ludwicks and us over to enjoy their new deck that Jacob built all by himself! He did a great job, it was beautiful! We had a yummy dinner and the kids had a blast playing together!

All the girls had a chance to hold Kaitlynn and Emma's gerbils. Braden was a little wimpy though!

I think Braden pushed that car for hours on the deck!

Sprayground Playground

We found a great playground near us with a cool sandbox and a sprayground. Braden loved the digger in the sandbox!

The sprayground was a lot of fun. Braden loved running around and playing in the water. We spent the morning teaching him to walk around the sprayground and use his "pool feet" but it was just too exciting to walk!

Indy 500 Weekend

Braden and Megan

Rossell and Drexell

Hanging out with Megan

Caleb, the deep thinker, being goofy

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Indianapolis at my sister's. My brother Dale, brother-in-law Brad, and cousins Drexell and Keata all go to the Indy 500 every year while the rest of us hang out and play. Braden had a blast playing with all of his cousins. Megan spent the weekend "babysitting" him and did a great job! As he does every year, Dave treated us to a very yummy steak dinner on Sunday. Thanks Dave! On Monday we had a yummy brunch with everyone!

A big thanks to Jeri and Dave for hosting Race Weekend! We all had a great time!

New Picture Smile

Braden has started to make this face when we ask him to smile for the camera. I should be glad he is posing and attempting to smile for me! However, the smile is a little Chandler-ish!

Braden's Birthday

We celebrated on Braden's actual birthday with donuts for breakfast. These were his first donuts and he wasn't quite sure how to eat them. Once he figured out how to take a bite he thought they were very yummy!

Braden's 2nd Birthday Party

We had a few family and friends over for Braden's birthday party. Braden had a blast playing with everyone, eating cake, and opening presents.
He loved blowing out the candles on his Digger cake.
His cousins showed him that eating the cake with his trucks would be fun and messy of course.
Braden's cousin Noah.

Dan and Braden had lots of help opening presents.

Braden opened presents with Nana at her house a couple days later. He enjoyed continuing his birthday as long as he could.

Welcome to Our Blog

Dan and I decided to join the 21st century and create a blog. We thought this would be a good way of keeping our family and friends up-to-date on our life. We hope everyone is doing well. More to come...

Love,

Jennifer, Dan & Braden
