The Fair

Even the 95 degree weather can't keep us from the fair! Well, at least not Daddy, Braden, and me.....Kinley got to stay in the air conditioning at Grandma's house. I'm sure she'll enjoy it next year though.

Visit with Nana

We had a great time at Nana's! Braden got to do one of his favorite things, playing outside with the hose. Nana has joined the ranks with Daddy and Aunt Julie, she can really get Kinley laughing. It makes my heart happy to see both of my kiddos enjoy their Nana so much! Kinley also enjoyed Nana's exersaucer. Looks like it is time to drag ours out of storage.

Kinley is 4 months old!

She's ready!

Kinley had her 4 month appt this week and she is growing!
23 3/8" (25%-on the short side just like the rest of her family)
13 lbs. 14 oz. (60%- Wow!- a little bigger than her brother who was still at 25% at 4 months)
They confirmed what we already knew.....she is a little chunky monkey! We love each and every one of the those rolls though. The doc gave us the go ahead to try some rice cereal. Kinley liked it the first day but the following two days wasn't too interested so we'll try again in another month. Mommy was really just hoping that maybe, just maybe, it would help her sleep a little better at night (not sure if it really works that way or not though). Looks like we have a few more 3am cuddles ahead of us.....I really don't mind too much but don't tell Kinley that : ). I know that these days of snuggles will go by too fast so I try and cherish them while I've still got them!

Something to bring a smile to anyone's face.....

Better late than never........

Our good friend Ross McLain snapped some pictures for us when Kinley was 11 weeks old. He did a great job and we are so thankful to have these images of our little ones! Thanks Ross! (Hopefully Blogger will cooperate and let me post some more- there were tons of great ones)

Braden offered to hold Kinley while I got him a snack today. I took him up on it and QUICKLY got him his snack.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th at the Centerville Americana festival. Braden got to play on a bunch of blow up slides and bounce houses, take a pony ride, visit the petting zoo, and play at the sprayground! Oh....and have his hair spray painted red, white, and blue! To finish off the day he was able to stay up late and watch the fireworks from our driveway. Of course, Kinley joined in on all the action from the comfort of her stroller.
